Hello Sir, I hope you are in good health. It is to inform you on urgent basis that would not be able to attend college today. I am going through chronic sinusitis which has made me lose sleep and developed body ache. I have a very bad headache for the past two days but today when I woke up, I had a high temperature and could not able to make any movement. Everyone knows that flu always take its time and then go but the body/ muscular pain it is causing is inevitable. I cannot state my condition that how weak I feel. You already know that I catch the disease faster than anybody due to my weak immune system. I always have repeated infections but I try to take proper medication and my doctor has already prescribed me on daily vitamins and supplements. You are already very well-known of the fact that I am always present in class and have not missed any lecture ever. I don’t really want to miss the lecture but this incessant flu and coughing have made me so weak. I have two quizzes today of biology and chemistry and would not be able to appear in tests due to my condition. I am informing you at a last moment but I hope that my regular presence and participation in class would make up for it. I will visit my doctor today and get the proper medication to treat my condition. I am already taking antibiotics at home which my mother gave me. I would give my pending tests as soon as I get back to college. I hope you take in consideration my record of attendance and class participation while marking my attendance and granting me leave. I shall be beholden and grateful for the kind favor.
